At Eastside Psychological Associates, we provide consultation, assessment, and therapy to help with a wide range of concerns, including:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Disruptive behavior
- Developmental problems
- Problems with attention
- Challenges related to divorce, separation, or other family stress
- Parenting concerns
- Grief or loss
- Coping with chronic illness
We also conduct comprehensive evaluations for questions of learning disability, cognitive impairment, or giftedness. These evaluations include recommendations to best meet a child’s or adolescent’s educational needs, with careful attention to his/her unique profile of academic strengths and weaknesses.
Our initial 90-minute evaluations include meeting with both child and parents, and also include collaboration with your physician or school staff if appropriate. Feedback and recommendations for therapy or psychological testing appointments will be provided following this evaluation, and a specific plan of care will be determined in collaboration with you.
Subsequent services will be billed according to our fee schedule. A written report will be provided at the completion of a cognitive assessment. Results may or may not indicate need for school services. If it is determined that the needs of you/your child would be best met by other providers, we will provide you with appropriate referral information.
For questions about our services or to schedule an appointment, call: (216) 342-4221. We welcome calls from health care providers and school professionals to discuss our services or to answer referral questions.
